Carter Elementary School

Please review the student/parent handbook about arrival and dismissal procedures. ARRIVAL- Students may not be dropped off before 7:50 a.m.  The doors will not be open until this time, and students may not be left outside unsupervised.  Breakfast is served from 7:50 a.m. to 8:10 a.m. for students who choose to eat breakfast at school.  Please keep in mind that students will be considered TARDY if they arrive after 8:20. Students must be dropped off from the carpool line at the rear of the school. Parents may not walk students into the building unless they have an appointment or business in the office.  

Dismissal time is 3:20 p.m. Students are not released until that time. Please remember that if you need to sign your child out early the student must be signed out by 2:30 p.m. The outside door will remain locked until 3:20 p.m. If you need to pick up your child early it must be before 2:30 p.m.
