World Book Online is a great resource for research with links to web sites that have been reviewed for accuracy and age appropriateness. Students may obtain the username and password from their teacher.
Galileo is provided by the Georgia Department of Education and is free for public schools. Galileo is a database of periodicals and reference materials with information for students of all ages. Students may obtain the username and password from their teacher. The Galileo password changes each semester.
